I've just finished updating some screenshots, graphics, and other website gizmos. In the process, the smattering of old forum posts went *poof*, sorry about that.
Anyway, please feel free to post any questions you have about Salvation Prophecy here, and I'll do my best to get back to you.
Also, you can tune into my twitter feed here. It's mostly programmer ramblings but maybe some people are interested in that stuff.
Even better, were you thinking of maybe going through a digital content distribution system like Steam or Impulse? I think those would be good platforms for you guys as they have 3 major benefits I can think of for you. 1) Very wide audience will see it. 2) Steam is a sort of anti-piracy type thing in and of itself. I've yet to see someone successfully hack / steal stuff from them without getting caught. 3) It has a built in anti-cheat system. ( not sure if you are going for multiplayer or not ) G.R.A.R.C.
I'm a huge fan of digital distribution, it's done great things for PC games. Right now, I'm strongly leaning in that direction - Steam, Impulse, GamersGate, Direct2Drive, etc. I've made some very preliminary contacts, but nothing will be certain until the game is complete.
The game is pure single player, purely because of time constraints (I'm the only programmer). Although there's also some design elements of the game that work much better as a single player experience. Maybe if SP sells enough copies, I'll follow up with a sequel with some multiplayer components.
